Shaping Time: Ceramic's Ancient Echoes

Ibrahim Said's "Shaping Time" is a three-tiered ceramic structure with motifs typical of ancient Egyptian and Islamic cultures, inspired from The Met Museum's artifacts. Through modelling, engraving, and lacquering, Said adorns the piece with relief carvings and glazed surfaces, subtly referencing Vacheron Constantin's decorative arts. Additionally, Ibrahim’s piece carries a distinct yet subtle echo of the Maison’s Maltese Cross emblem. Each intricate pattern and organic contour reflects a patient dedication to craft, where beauty and perfection are meticulously shaped.
